You might think that I have multiple personality disorder from the looks of my collection.
From swords to slip joints, from tactical folders to camp knives, from kitchen knives to combat knives… I love and collect them all, to an extent.
The wild and wide variety of knives and knifemakers that we showcase on The Knife Junkie YouTube channel has been the catalyst for our slow but steady growth.
Our viewers and listeners do not all hail from one subcommunity of the knife world, like sword guys or modern folder guys, we have a truly diverse audience who all come together around sharpened steel. That’s what it boils down to.
I have often thought that if I just focused on showing off all the latest and greatest modern folders as they hit the market, The Knife Junkie channel would be much bigger.
But variety is the spice of life, and I really live by those words when it comes to my taste in knives, my collection, and the makers I invite on the podcast.
So if you think that variety is the spice of life, you’ve found the right knife channel and podcast.
Knife Junkie out!
