The Agent-001 Debuts at Blade Show!
Get ready for one of the coolest knives ever!!
The TKell Knives Agent-001 is here and ready for its Blade Show debut!!
I hold, in my hot little hands, one of the coolest knives I’ve ever beheld, and it’s no wonder because I designed it to be that way!
The Agent-001 started as a drawing in my sketch book as a discreet carry fighting knife that fit in the same size/carry envelope as one of my favorite EDC fixies, the TKell Nightstalker.
So I showed my design to Tim, and he liked it.
The blade, to him, was a finished design, but the handle needed work to fit comfortably in his hand, so out came the paper and pencil, and numerous drawn versions.
Tim mocked up the knife on his 3D resin printer and further tweaked the ergonomics of the handle until it was just right for large and small hands.
We added jimping and a glass breaker to the pommel and Tim’s grenade grip texture to the scales, and a star was born.
I say a star because Tim calls the Agent-001 the best knife he’s made yet, and I know it will sell like hotcakes at Blade Show!
I am very excited to have worked with Tim on this collaboration, and it has been an honor seeing him put his considerable talents and energy toward making my design a tangible reality.
