Hopefully you’ve been bulking up the old knife slush fund because the NoVA-2 is finally here!
To be clear, by "here,” I mean the preorder is open.
The NoVA-2 is a fixed-blade collaboration between me and Matt Chase of Hogtooth Knives.
Built on Matt’s fixed-blade EDC platform, the NoVA-1 was a recurve Bowie with a 3.5-inch 154CM blade.
The NoVA-2 continues the series, using the same handle profile, but this time with a Kiridashi blade.
The Kiridashi is a traditional Japanese utility knife with a triangular shaped blade that we adopted and turned into a "Utili-fighter.”
The edge of the NoVA-2 blade is arrow straight and upward ascending to the tip, which sits on the knife’s center line, making it easy for indexing.
The blade is deeply hollow ground and jimped and the package boasts an exclusive colorway: Ivory G10 handles with red liners contrasting with the dark acid washed blade.
Each NoVA-2 comes in a discreet, form-fitting kydex sheath with a large DCC clip to attach it where you want.
And each NoVA-2 will be serial-numbered on this pre-order!
