I am very excited to announce that the T.Kell Knives Agent-001, a collaboration with me (the Knife Junkie), will be released into the wild for the first time at Blade Show 2024 in Atlanta, Ga.
Last night (as I write this), I received word from Tim Kell that he had gotten 190 Agent-001 blades back from nickel-boron coating and that they were ready for edges and handles.
The Agent series of knives is designed around a handle that, while lacking the ring of the Nightstalker, has the same dimensions, replacing the ring with a bird-beak pommel to aid in deployment.
The blade on the Agent-001 is a double-edged fighter, bayonet-ground with jimping for the thumb on the back third of the spine. A single-blade version is also on offer, and other blades are soon to follow on the same platform, utilizing the same handle.
In true T.Kell Knives fashion, the Agent-001 is housed in a discreet kydex sheath, maintaining a profile about the width of the average belt.
The user can carry it however they please, but for me, this is a front scout carry knife, i.e., horizontal across the belt buckle region for easy right hand, reverse-grip draw, or convenient left handed standard grip draw.
Of course, you do not have to go to Blade Show to get an Agent-001; they will become a regular part of T.Kell Knive’s line-up.
